I began photography as my hobby Freshman year of Highschool in 2003. I've been photographing portraits and special events since 2011 for other photographer's businesses and my friends. Elise Alexandra Photography began in the Fall of 2020 and I can't believe how quickly I've grown! Check out my portfolio page for a snippet of my work so far.

I currently use Pixieset Gallery to deliver you proofs of photos from your session. You then help to choose which images you'd like for me to edit for your package. You'll receive them in high resolution and are able to download them straight from the gallery. I do not release raw images to my clients as this does not represent my finalized work. If you find more images than your package includes you can purchase them for an additional $10 each.

Each package has a different amount of images built into the prices you see on the website. Please contact me with your ideas and we can talk about the price that correlates with the number of images you want and/or need.

The prints of your photographs are an investment. I have an online store facilitated by Pixieset that allows you to order all kinds of products with your photographs on them. There is a distinct difference in quality when ordering from my online store because they use archival inks and papers that extend the life of your keepsakes tremendously. You can't get quality like this from big box stores or the pharmacy, and a portion of the sales come back to me. I hope you'll consider using the services I recommend for the sake of your beautiful photograph's life on your wall or in the album.

I have photoshop for the occasional bad skin day or errant tree branch, but I don't make a practice of retouching my clients. Unrealistic beauty standards are poison and I support you just as you are.

For Portraits (individual and couples) usually 2-3 weeks, but we can negotiate if you're up against a deadline. Elopements and Weddings take me 7-10 weeks depending on how many images I walked away from your special day with. Please contact me via email if you are looking for more information on timelines for final gallery delivery.

I am comfortable booking up to 18 months in advance with a 30% deposit.

But of course. I walk through choosing a location, what to wear, how to get there, and more with each client. I'm very into advice and helping as much as I can. I won't leave you wondering.

Pick a place that is special to you as a couple or that you've always wanted to go together. Ask me any questions you may have about the process. I am an open book! I know it sounds crazy, but spend some time in the mirror looking at yourself and making different poses and expressions. This will help you to understand what you look like in front of the camera and relieve anxiety!

I think the most important factor to consider is your comfort level and what you'd like your final image to look like. Clothes are as unique as the person, but try to avoid any intricate patterns or "loud" colors that could change the way your final image turns out. Think of fit: It's important that you feel your best. Stay true to you and the location you're having your photos taken. My favorites are earth tones and deep versions of all your favorite colors. If you are unsure or want variety: bring multiple options with you and we can work together to pick the best looks.

Oh boy do I LOVE to travel! I am currently exercising an abundance of caution due to the "Pandemi" (thank you, Nicole Byer). I won't be traveling for work outside of the Pacific Northwest regularly any time soon, but you are welcome to inquire about future projects.
